What can the PLUS do for me?

Our only aim is to represent students’ interests and rights, which might be a reason why PLUS members are often contacted in case of changes at any university level. An independent organisation is able to achieve much more than a party-backed organisation, especially if it comes to representation of students’ rights and voice. We are 100% independent and that is our main strength – we can criticise, whereas other organisations have to keep in mind and consider the ideas and aims of particular political parties. For the last 12 years, PLUS has consisted of committed and active students, who have necessary experience and innovative ideas. The ideas and needs of students – that is what counts, not a predetermined political concept. We convince of our work not through free beer, lighters and other bric-a-brac but through a thorough job and facts. We stand for commitment front and centre, better conditions for students and better service, e.g. 24/7 library, Mensaparty. Our main advantage is our creativity, dedication and organisation. All PLUS members are students. Whether it is a project (e.g. ÖH lunch cards, social fund), negotiations with the university (e.g. 5 exam attempts instead of 4), counselling, actions or events (e.g. movie nights, India meets Austria) – nothing is too tiring for us because we want the change to happen. We want to keep on working as productively and efficiently as possible, and we count on your trust in PLUS.
